The DEEP Center seeks to initiate a cultural shift in the knowledge, attitudes, behaviors/practices, and effectiveness (KABE), of faculty/leaders in engineering education.

To develop equity-minded practitioners and change agents, it is essential to understand the foundations of DEI, how it is presented to our students and in the classroom, and the perspectives and experiences of our faculty and other teaching personnel that are brought to the classroom. Additionally, DEEP aims to create resources and pathways for DEI work for engineering educators.
