Onyema Osuagwu
Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dr. Osuagwu is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Assistant Director of the Cybersecurity Assurance and Policy (CAP) Center. Dr. Osuagwu has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an additional Neuroengineering concentration and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also has an M.A. and B.A. in Physics with a Mathematics concentration and a B.A. in Psychology with concentrations in Business, Computer Science, and Physics.
His research interests include but are not limited to artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, biologically-inspired computing, quantum computing, neuromorphic circuitry, secure Non-Von Neumann computer architectures, cognition and computation in the human brain, Brain Machine Interfaces, emergent systems and phenomena and reverse engineering, vulnerability research.
